Theo’s Skate Jam is an event that takes place at the Skate Park that raises money for the charity Little Hearts Matter, a charity dedicated to supporting and empowering anyone affected by the diagnosis of a single ventricle heart condition – or half a working heart.

In March, we entered Thame into the first ever UK Town of Culture competition, a competition to restore pride in communities. As part of the bid, all applicants were invited to submit a postcard from their town, depicted above is ours, paired with the following message:

Thank you to all of you who completed our Banking Hub Survey. By filling out this survey, your experiences will be used as new evidence that Thame still needs a Banking Hub. In total, we received a brilliant 260 responses, evidencing the community’s need for this facility. We will continue to keep you updated as we go through processes to get our need for a banking hub heard.

Thame Red Kites Walking Football in the Community

On Monday 29th June at 2pm players from the newly formed Thame Red Kites Walking Football Club entertained the residents of Cuttlebrook Hall with a 2-hour penalty shoot-out.
