The Event

On Friday 1 December 2017, Thame will host its annual community Christmas event which typically attracts thousands of local residents and families all looking to spoil themselves or their loved ones with good food and great gifts, not to mention the lantern parade and fantastic selection of entertainment and attractions on offer, including the return of our popular Santa’s Grotto and Go-Karts! The event is a celebration of music, food, craft and dance, organised by the Town Council, to commence the festive season.

Town Trail

Each year 24 Town Centre shops and businesses are invited to take part in a Christmas-themed town trail in the lead up to the Christmas Event on Friday 1 December. Everyone is invited to take part and search for the hidden images in shop windows. If you manage to find them all, and return your completed to the Town Hall by Thursday 30 November, then you could be pushing the plunger to turn on the town’s Christmas lights as well as win some other fabulous prizes.

Details of this year’s Town Trail will be announced in October. The Town Trail will run throughout the month of November.
