This year’s Christmas Lights Switch-On will take place on Friday 30 November. Event planning is well underway – Santa’s Grotto is confirmed for this year! Want to have your say on what else we should book? Head over to the Christmas in Thame Facebook page where we are running a poll for the community of Thame to input their ideas for the event this year.

24 Town Centre shops took part in last year’s town trail themed the ‘Snowflake Search’. Look out for the launch of the 2018 Town Trail in the Autumn. Don’t forget, the winner will get to help push the plunger on Thame’s Christmas Lights this year and there will once again be some great runners up prizes!
We are currently looking for local performance groups to perform at the event in either the Town Hall, Masonic Hall, main area podium or ‘pop-up’ entertainment around the event. Get in touch via firstname.lastname@example.org if you are interested!

It wouldn’t be a Christmas Lights Switch-On without some special guests! Look out for details closer to the event date.
Booking is now open for stallholders to attend this year’s Christmas Lights Switch-On.
Please download and read the Regulations, complete and return the Application Form, along with a copy of your Public Liability Insurance, Food Hygiene certificate (if applicable) and Risk Assessment. Priority will be given to local stallholders. Stalls are offered on a year-on-year and first-come-first-served basis; this is to ensure fairness and diversity.
We are currently looking for sponsorship for the 2018 event – if you are business or community group who would like to sponsor the event or offer your time or support towards the event, please email email@example.com. There is a suitably priced package available for all budgets and we are very grateful of all support received.
