  • 1 new residential dwelling to be numbered: 6A Kings Close, Thame, OX9 3DA.
  • 37 new residential dwellings to be street named and numbered: 1 to 25 (Odds Excl. 13) and 2 to 50 (Evens) Mays Field, Thame.

(As amended by plan received 03 March 2022)

To note that this application was refused planning permission on 8 August 2022. Thame Town Council objected on 5 April 2022 on the grounds that the application was unneighbourly (due to loss of privacy) and out of keeping with the area.

g) Amended Plans & Contrary Decision – P22/S2213/A – Robert Stanley Opticians, 22 Cornmarket – Installation of one replacement fascia sign & one projecting sign (external illumination removed from hanging sign as shown on amended plans received 11 August 2022).

To note that having considered the amended plans, Officer consider that whilst the removal of the external illumination is welcome, the use of contemporary materials is out of character in the conservation area, and therefore the Town Council should maintain its objection made on 5 July 2022.
