6 For Information

a) Contrary Decision – 11 Coombe Hill Crescent – P21/S3998/HH – Two-storey annexe extension (Amended plans received 12 January 2022 showing a reduction to the width and depth of the annexe and lowering the height of the roof ridge).

To note that the District Council granted planning permission on 29 April 2022. The Town Council objected to the application on 19 October 2021 and 1 February 2022 on the grounds of overdevelopment.

b) Bus Stop Suspension Application – Oxford Road (near Town Farm Close) – 23 May 2022 to 7 June 2022 to facilitate roadworks with 4-way traffic lights. A temporary bus stop will be positioned further along Oxford Road.

c) Lawful Development Application – 14 Churchill Crescent – P22/S1702/LDP – Loft conversion with the addition of new dormer window to the rear and new roof windows to the front.

To note that application seeks confirmation from the Local Planning Authority that the proposed development is lawful. The case officer has stated that they are therefore unable to take any comments on the planning merits of the proposal into account, but if any Councillor has specific concerns, please be prepared to raise them at the meeting.

d) Conversion of commercial Units 6 and 7 Goodson Industrial Mews to form 12 new residential flats to be known as: Flats 1 to 4, 6 Goodson Industrial Mews and 5 to 12, 7 Goodson Industrial Mews, Wellington Street, Thame, OX9 3BX.

e) Building Control Update – 10a Cornmarket, Thame – To note that following a report to SODC by the Town Council on behalf of the Thame Conservation Area Advisory Committee and subsequent site visit, a contractor has been appointed to repair the timber window sills with works due to start on 18th May 2022.

f) Notification of Cabinet Meeting – To note that following objections raised to the consultation on the proposed zebra crossing at Wellington Street, Thame, the proposal will be considered by the County Council’s Cabinet Member for Highway Management at a meeting at 10am on Thursday 26th May 2022. The meeting can be live-streamed, and written representations must be made by Tuesday 24th May 2022.
