There are a few potholes in Brook lane adjacent to the Six Bells car park causing the grounding of my car and potential damage when exiting my garage In addition the are in the corner is full of debris and this restricts access to the turn. This means that cars that turn the corner occasionally cut it and have hit the building. I have phoned to report this before. • Speeding, 19th May

    19 May 2020 11:55 am

There are frequently people speeding on Oxford Road in Thame. Some going around 50mph in a 30mph area. It has always been a problem in the evening/night time but seems more of an issue in the day with the roads being quieter at the moment. I contacted the police asking if they'd consider positioning a speed trap from time to time and they suggested contacting the council for a more long term solution. The speed camera that is currently there does not appear to be turned on and it does nothing to slow the traffic going in the direction out of Thame. Are there any other traffic calming options being considered? It is quite frightening particularly where the footpath is narrow near Lord Williams school.

  • Grass cutting- section always ignored, 15th May

    15 May 2020 6:40 am

This grass is never cut, it is missed everytime maintenance do grass everywhere else. when questioned they say it’s because there are parked cars nearby and access is impossible. however no attempt is made even with a strimmer. the grass is over a foot long and the dandy lions are rampant and only getting worse as their seeds spread. the cars will always be there. they need to find another way to keep this tidy or remove grass altogether.
