  • Pavement on cuttlebrook side of road is dangerous, 26th November

    26 November 2020 5:44 pm

The pavement on the cuttlebrook side of the road has degenerated leaving trip hazards, with the road gutter also subsiding. Other surrounding roads and pavements have been resurfaced but this has not to date. There are extensive elderly and vulnerable groups using this pavement and it is increasingly dangerous. This is particularly the case in the stretch from adjacent to conduit hill rise to the left turn.

  • Flooding, broken drainage pipe, 23rd November

    23 November 2020 9:26 am

I have reported this twice over the last few months and have heard nothing. The water from the main road should pass through a pipe to a ditch and then into the Cutglebrook. This ditch has been half cleared once over the last 34 years and hence is completely blocked. The water drains into our field which has stock in. There is now a considerable pond of foul water from the road - and the hedge and trees are suffering badly. Please contact me to discuss and from then you could see that the ditch is finally cleared. It is dreadful for the environment.
