Gas Supply disconnected at Changing Rooms

28th May 2026

On Thursday 28 May, the gas supply to the changing rooms at Southern Road Recreation Ground will be disconnected by SGN (Scotia Gas Networks). These disconnection works are expected to be completed on Wednesday 3 June. During the works, we expect there to be minimal disruption to those using the playing field on Southern Road Recreation Ground.

South Oxfordshire District Council – considering the application, including the recently submitted Biodiversity Net Gain assessment and metric, and responses received. A decision date has not yet been set.
Thame Town Council – supports the application subject to outstanding matters being resolved.
