Mayor’s upcoming events

The Mayor of Thame, Cllr Linda Emery, has been busy planning lots of exciting events to fundraise for her two chosen charities: the Red Kite Children’s Centre and Thame Youth Projects (supporting Thame Youth Cafe). Before the end of her mayoral year in May, the following events are planned:

Bubbles, Boards and Cream

On Thursday 9 March between 7-9:30pm, join the Mayor for an evening of deli boards, champagne and ice cream at The James Figg. Supported by Libery Wine, Boutinot Wines and Jude’s Ice Cream, all proceeds of ticket sales will go to the Red Kite Children’s Centre and the Thame Youth Cafe. Tickets are £25 and you can book your place by visiting The James Figg bar. Click here to view the event poster.

Musical Evening – get your tickets now!
This will be taking place on Saturday 18 March between 7-9pm at St Mary’s Church, Thame. There’ll be performances from Thame Concert Band, Thame Children’s Choir (TCC2), Thame Pop Choir, TMA Voices Choir, St Mary’s Choir and The Greatest Hits Choir. Refreshments will be available during the interval. Tickets are available from Thame Town Hall – adults are £5 per ticket and children go free! Click here to view the event poster.

Golf Day
Another favourite fundraising event for previous Mayors, this year at The Oxfordshire, is the Mayor’s Charity Golf Day. Places are £65 per person, which includes tea & coffee, a bacon roll, two course meal and a round of golf on the 18-hole championship golf course (including some fun competitions and prizes!). Ladies, mens and mixed teams are welcome.
