Thame shines bright in national Christmas Lights competition
After making it to the final 12 in the Blachere Illuminations’ Christmas Lights competition, Thame fought off some strong competition from much larger towns and cities around the country to finish in third place. Although we narrowly missed out on winning the top £10,000 prize, the great efforts by Town Council staff and Councillors have secured Thame an additional £1,000 towards the Christmas Lights this year.
