New speed limit in force on the A329

OXFORDSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL (THAME AND VARIOUS PARISHES) 
(SPEED LIMITS) ORDER 2023

 
NOTICE is given that on 24 July 2023 Oxfordshire County Council made the above order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers. The order, which comes into force on 31 July introduces a 40mph Speed Limit on the A329 Rycote Lane in Thame, extending south-eastwards from its roundabout junction with the A418 to a point 425 metres west of Moreton Road – replacing the existing 50pmh speed limit by the same amount.

The Oxfordshire County Council (A329 Milton Common to Thame, South Oxfordshire District) (50 Mph Speed Limit) Order 2007, and the Oxfordshire County Council (Thame Area) (Speed Limits) Order 2011 are revoked/replaced as necessary.
