Make sure you’re ready to vote next week

All registered voters should receive a polling card through the post confirming where you need go to cast your vote on Thursday 4 May:

  • If you registered to vote by 7 March 2023 you should have received your poll card. If it hasn’t arrived, please call 01235 422528 to check you are still registered.
  • If you registered to vote between 8 March and 17 April 2023 you should have received your poll card during the week commencing 24 April.

The May 2023 local elections will be the first time that voters in the UK will be required to show photo ID when voting at a polling station. A range of photo ID will be accepted, including passports, driving licences, disabled parking blue badges and cards with a PASS Mark. Expired ID is acceptable, as long as the photograph is still a true likeness of you.

Here’s the list of polling stations in Thame for next week’s local elections. It will tell you on your polling card which polling station you should attend, however if you do not have this to hand you can enter your postcode here and you will be notified of where you should go to vote. You do not have to have your polling card with you when you go to vote.
