Thame Fire Station Refurbishment Works
Thame Fire Station is currently undergoing essential refurbishment works from 1st to 30th November. Due to these works the local on call fire fighters will need to utilise some space in the Upper High Street Car Park for parking throughout this period, including at weekends and over a 24 hour period. As such an area has been kindly designated by Thame Town Council for this specific use.
Please could you help Thame Fire Station by:
- keeping the spaces clear at all times to enable our firefighters to park their vehicles and respond to emergencies 24/7.
- leaving the cones in place – only 10 spaces have been allocated throughout November for this purpose.
All Thame Fire Station vehicles parked in this area will be required to display an orange permit at all times. They will not be using the car park on Monday evening / Tuesday day time, this is to allow Thame market to continue, but the parking spaces will be reinstated on Tuesday evening.
