5 Planning Applications

1655 – THAME MUSEUM, 79 HIGH STREET

Demolition of 1980s extension to the former Magistrates Court building (Thame Museum) & new single storey extension with internal alterations to provide new entrance, foyer, library & storage accommodation. To include new steps, ramp, front boundary wall & railings externally to the street.

6 CM/0022/22 – Land To North West Of Bicester Road, Long Crendon – Erection of anaerobic digestion facility, comprising silage clamps, digestor tanks, lagoons, administrative buildings, landscaping and access.

To note that the Town Council has been consulted on this application, and consider any comments that the Town Council would like to make.

 

7 For Information

a) Amended Plans & Information – P21/S1511/FUL– Land North of Rycote Lane – Variation of condition 2 (Approved Plans) for off-site highway works incorporating alterations to Rycote Lane in application P17/S4441/O. (As amended by plans & information received 25 October 2022).

To note that having reviewed the amended plans, Officers consider that it would not change the Town Council’s recommendation made on 25 May 2021 of No Comment.

b) Contrary Decision – P22/S2932/LB – Wall between No. 104 & 105 High Street – Creation of new opening at the first floor level between 104 & 105 High Street to allow for increased covers for Caffe Gloria.

To note that listed building consent was granted on 4 November 2022. The Town Council supported the application subject to no objection from the District Conservation Officer. The Conservation Officer objected and therefore so did the Town Council.

c) Contrary Decision – P22/S2416/FUL & P22/S2417/LB – Town Farm, 8 Oxford Road – Following previous renovation works to No.8 to create No.6, formal approval required for No.6 to be a separate dwelling.

To note that planning permission and listed building consent were granted on 4 November. The Town Council objected to this application on the grounds of not supporting the subdivision of the listed building, inadequate provision of private outdoor amenity space, and poor highways safety.

d) Amended Plans – P22/S2834/HH – 21 Wentworth Road – Single storey side extension. (Amended plans showing first floor plan and number of bedrooms dwelling has and 1 car park space removed, 17 November 2022).

To note that having reviewed the amended plans, Officers consider that it would not change the Town Council’s recommendation made on 18 October 2022 to support the application subject to no objection from the Highways Officer.
