6          Reports from Town Council Representatives

a) Transport Representative – There was no report from Cllr Bretherton.

The Chairman noted the report from Cllr Austin on behalf of the Public Transport Working Group, which had been working hard and produced a good report. As the group had been initiated in this committee, it was appropriate for the group to report here, however it was noted that there had been some internal issues regarding the group’s procedures. The Mayor, Cllr Cowell, advised that this was being looked into and would be resolved.

7          For Information

The items for information were noted.

Regarding Item 7b, there was anecdotal information that the proposed nursery was not going ahead.

The meeting concluded at 6:56pm.
