7. St Joseph’s Church and School Signage

To note that after submission of a proposal to improve directional signage to St Joseph’s Catholic Church and School in March 2018, supported by the then Town Mayor, with some progress noted at the Neighbourhood Plan Continuity Committee on 29 January 2019, that the Highway Authority has now agreed a final specification. The £965.91 cost will be covered by £500 from the Town Council Localism Fund with the balance being provided by St Joseph’s.

a) P19/S1596/FUL – Amendment No. 1 – Park Meadow Cottage, Thame Park Road – Additional drainage information provided 27 June 2019.

b) P19/S0344/FUL – Land between Elmfield House and The Old Dairy, Moreton – Erection of a detached single storey 4-bedroom dwelling with parking and amenity space.

To note the District Planning Committee will consider this application on 24 July 2019. The District Planning Officer’s recommendation to Committee is to refuse permission. As agreed at the Planning & Environment Committee meeting held on 19 February 2019 the Town Council had No Objections and included the comment; ‘the application is considered, in this case only, appropriate infill. It is local land, owned by local people and has the support of the local community’. The Town Council has been invited to attend and decisions on representations are being progressed via email.

c) P19/S1956/LDP – 55 Corbetts Way – Formation of habitable room in roof space with rear dormer. The Local Planning Authority has stated it is unable to take any comments but if any Councillor has specific concerns please be prepared to raise them in the meeting.

d) P19/S0095/FUL – Windrush, Bridge Terrace – Contrary Decision – Variation of condition 2 of application P15/S3607/FUL for the increase in the height of Units 1 and 2, the provision of 5 roof lights and 5 skylights to Units 1 and 2 to facilitate loft conversions, the provision of two additional windows in the east elevation of Unit 3 and the reconfiguration of the ground floor layout of Unit 3.

To note at the Planning & Environment Committee meeting on 29 January 2019 is was agreed to Object to this application on the grounds of Overdevelopment, Insufficient Parking and Unneighbourly.

The District Planning Authority has granted permission with conditions stating that the application proposal is in accordance with relevant development plan policies and national planning policy, it is considered that the proposed roof openings and other amendments to planning permission P15/S3607/FUL would be in keeping with the character and appearance of the site and surrounding area and would not harm the amenity of neighbouring properties.

e) P19/S2128/PDH – 70 Queens Road – Single storey rear extension. Depth: 4.6m Height: 3.4m Height to eaves: 3m. The Local Planning Authority has stated it is unable to take any comments but if any Councillor has specific concerns please be prepared to raise them in the meeting.
