7 Airspace Change Proposal (ACP) – RAF Brize Norton

To note that:

  • The Town Council has been consulted on the Design Principles (Stage 1, Step B) consultation by the Ministry of Defence as a stakeholder within 30miles of RAF Brize Norton.
  • The consultation is a preliminary consultation focusing on criteria, best practice and legislative requirements. Officers have reviewed the information and at this stage there is little to comment on, but future consultations will warrant input from the Town Council as the ACP is likely to impact on Thame.
  • Officers recommend that the following comment be made: “Thank you for informing Thame Town Council. We have no wish to comment on the assessment criteria, please keep in contact with us on this matter”.
