9. For Information

a) P16/S3478/A – Pizza Parlour, 100A High Street – Amendment No. 1 – Proposed signage retrospective (as amended by scale plans received 20 April 2017). The District Planning Officer has advised that an extension of the consultation time to enable the Town Council to put forward a recommendation could not be given in this instance. The Planning Decision to refuse planning permission has subsequently been received. This will now likely be followed up by a planning enforcement investigation.

At the Planning & Environment Committee meeting on 20 December 2016 the original planning application (P16/S3478/A) was considered and it was agreed to submit a recommendation for refusal on the grounds that the materials did not conform to Conservation Area Policy and comment that Members welcomed the move to replace the existing signage and the proposed black lettering on a white background.

b) P17/S1185/LDE – 41 Hampden Avenue – Single storey front extension – The Local Planning Authority has stated it is unable to take any comments but if any Councillor has specific concerns please be prepared to raise them in the meeting. Subsequently withdrawn by the applicant on 29 April 2017.

c) P17/S1507/LDP – 2 Henrietta Road – Proposed single storey rear extension – The Local Planning Authority has stated it is unable to take any comments but if any Councillor has specific concerns please be prepared to raise them in the meeting.

d) P17/S1134/PHD – 12 Stuart Way – Rear extension to detached property with side window, roof velux and patio doors (using existing) – Withdrawn application.

e) P17/S1398/FUL – Land West of Thame Park Road Thame – application for: Removal of condition 24 – Code for Sustainable Homes on application ref. P13/S2330/O Residential development comprising up to 175 residential dwellings. If appropriate on examining further detail, the Neighbourhood Plan Continuity Officer will continue with same representations as made for Bellway Site C2.

f) P17/S0701/HH – 5 Park Terrace – Single storey rear / side extension. At their meeting on 14 March 2017 Thame Town Council recommended refusal on the grounds of 1) Materials and form not in keeping with the terraced house, 2) Poor design, 3) Not in keeping with the character of the area, 4) The application would result in an additional bedroom and inadequate parking provision, 5) The ‘side extension’ aspect of the application would be visible from the street scene and 6) Adverse impact on the setting of the Conservation Area. The District Planning Department, recommended approval and planning permission was granted on 28 April 2017 which is a contrary decision.
