9 For Information

a)    P20/S2714/FUL – Amended Description – The Old Auction Room Aylesbury Road – New side entrance and widening of principle entrance (change of use element of application withdrawn following agent’s email 10th September 2020)

To note that the applicant has amended the description to remove the change of use element. This removes the Objection made by the Town Council on 25 August 2020 regarding loss of employment. As such the request to call-in the application to SODC’s Planning Committee has been withdrawn.

b)    P20/S2716/LB – Amended Description & Additional Heritage Information – The Old Auction Room Aylesbury Road – New side entrance and widening of principle entrance.

To note that having reviewed the amended description and additional information, it is the Officer’s view that it would not alter the Town Council’s recommendation made on 25 August 2020 to Support the application subject to no objection from the District Conservation Officer.

c)    P20/S2862/LDP – 62 Ludsden Grove – Proposed garden building at bottom of garden as a part-time hair salon.

The Local Planning Authority has stated it is unable to take any comments but if any Councillor has specific concerns please be prepared to raise them in the meeting.

d)    Road Closure update – T7528, Tetsworth, A40 (Embankment Works) – date extended to 23 December 2020.

e)    P20/S1852/FUL– Additional Information – Daf Trucks Ltd, Eastern Bypass –Application under S73 of the Town and County Planning Act 1990 for variation of Condition 2 – amended plans and 5 – amendment to means of access for the full application and Condition 4 – amended plans for the outline application of P18/S3143/O.

To note that the Agent and County Highways Officer have confirmed that the site could accommodate an articulated vehicle (16.5m) with the proposed access. This removes the Objection made by the Town Council on 14 July 2020 regarding poor highways access for flexible bodied HGVs.

f)     P20/S3157/LDP – 20 Wentworth Road – Certificate of Lawful use for a front porch.

The Local Planning Authority has stated it is unable to take any comments but if any Councillor has specific concerns please be prepared to raise them in the meeting.

g)    P20/S2696/HH – Amendment No.1 – 6 Staggs Road – Two storey extension to existing single storey attached garage to create a double bedroom with en-suite on the first floor and a larger garage space on the ground floor. As well as a loft conversion equal to the footprint of the existing house and new garage extension to create a master bedroom suite with bathroom. (Amended plans received 14 September 2020 showing additional windows).

To note that having reviewed the amendment, it is the Officer’s view that it would not alter the Town Council’s recommendation made on 15 September 2020 to Support the application.

h)   P20/S1777/FUL – Amendment No.2 – 2 Garden City – Demolition of existing bungalow and erection of a 3-bedroom detached dwelling (Plot 1) and a 4-bedroom detached dwelling (Plot 2) (Plot 1 handed and additional arboricultural and ecological information as shown on documents received 28th July 2020 and Plot 2 handed and re-positioned further forward with single storey side lean-to moved to rear and parking and turning area realigned as shown on amended plans received 14th September 2020).

To note that having reviewed the amendment, it is the Officer’s view that it would not alter the Town Council’s recommendation made on 16 June 2020 and 25 August 2020 to Support the application.

i)     P20/S2381/O – Amendment No.1 – 3 Conduit Hill Rise – Erection of a detached dwelling with access, parking and amenity space (amended plans received 22nd September 2020 altering the footprint, siting and orientation of the proposed dwelling).

To note that having reviewed the amendment, it is the Officer’s view that it would not alter the Town Council’s recommendation made on 4 August 2020 to Object to the application on the grounds of Out of Character, Overdevelopment, Unneighbourly and Dangerous Highways Access.
