6 For Information

a) Amended Plans / Contrary Decision – 24 Nelson Street – P22/S1576/HH – Proposed single storey rear/side extension and fenestration alterations to the existing house (Obscured glass to the South West side facing panes of the new bay window as shown on amended plans received 8th June 2022).

To note that Officers have reviewed the amended plan and it is considered that whilst the obscured glass does address concerns regarding overlooking, the Town Council’s maintains its objection as the proposed grey aluminium windows are not in conformance with the Conservation Area.

To further note that the District Council granted planning permission on 24 June 2022. The Town Council objected to the application on 24 May 2022 on the grounds of out of character in the conservation area and overlooking.

b) Lawful Development Application – 51 Corbetts Way – P22/S2172/LDP – Loft conversion with dormer extension to rear roofslope and rooflights to front roofslope.

To note that the application seeks confirmation from the Local Planning Authority that the proposed development is lawful and therefore they are unable to take any comments on the planning merits of the proposal into account. If any Councillor has specific concerns, please be prepared to raise them at the meeting.

c) Change of organisation name and building number from: Artsmart Studio, 42 Upper High Street to: Leap Architects, 42A Upper High Street, Thame, OX9 2DW

d) Telecommunications 28 Day Notice – P22/S2227/T28 – Seven Acres, Queens Road and Kingsey Road – Intention to install 5 x new 9m wooden light pole.

The Town Council is not a statutory consultee, but if any Councillor has specific concerns, please be prepared to raise them in the meeting.

e) Permitted Development Application – P22/S2242/PDH – 47 Churchill Crescent – A single storey rear extension, extending beyond the original rear face of the terraced dwelling. Depth 5.16m Height 2.90m Height to eaves 2.60m.

To note that application seeks confirmation from the Local Planning Authority that the proposed development meets the prescribed criteria and no objections are received from the owner/occupier of notified properties. The case officer has advised that they are unable to take any views or comments about this notification from your council, but if any Councillor has specific concerns, please be prepared to raise them at the meeting.

f) Withdrawn Application – P21/S5225/FUL – Former Thames Valley Police Station Greyhound Lane – Application under S73 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 for variation of condition 15 on planning application P16/S3525/FUL to allow for the first eight occupations in advance of the completion of access, parking and turning.

To note this application was withdrawn prior to determination on 27 June 2022.

g) Erection of a care home to be named and numbered: Cuttlebrook Hall, 1 Stock Road, Thame.
