1 Apologies for Absence

There were no apologies for absence.

 
2 Declarations of Interest

There were no declarations of interest.

 
3 Public Participation

There were no applications to address the Council.

4 Exclusion of the Public

RESOLVED: Pursuant to Section 1 (2) of the Public Bodies (Admissions to Meetings) Act 1960 it is resolved that, because of the confidential nature of the business to be transacted, the public and press leave the meeting during consideration of:

5 Town Clerk

Notification had been received from the Town Clerk of her intention to take early retirement.  Members discussed the process for the recruitment of a new Town Clerk and Responsible Financial Officer.

It was agreed that the Personnel Committee would meet on 6 January 2015 to discuss the vacancy and submit a report to Council.  An additional Council meeting would take place on 8 January 2015.
