16 Service of Remembrance

To note that the Service of Remembrance will take place on, Sunday 12 November 2017, 10.30am assemble in car park at Town Hall ready to process to the Memorial Gardens.

There is normally a short ceremony outside the Town Hall at 11am on Armistice Day itself, but given that Armistice Day falls on a Saturday this year the Town Council will leave the community to observe the two minutes silence at 11am as it feels appropriate.

17 Town Awards

To note that the presentation of the Town Awards will take place on 3 May 2018 at The Thame Barns Centre.

18 Charity Fair

Following the success of last year’s event to note that Cllrs Emery, Dixon and Midwinter have continued with responsibility this year, on behalf of the Town Council, for the organisation of the annual Charity Fair which will take place on 4 November 2017.  Minimal officer support as required will be provided to help ensure continued success.

19 Farmers Market

To note that the Community Services Manager continues to support the Farmers Market in a variety of ways, including promotion of both upcoming dates and market offerings through Social Media and other channels.

To note that the Kimblewick Hunt will once again commence their Meet in the Upper High Street car park on Monday 1 January 2018.
