The League exists to supplement the service provided by Thame Community Hospital for the health, welfare and comfort of its patients and other invalids in the community, whether with the provision of facilities, buildings and equipment, or by educating the public in the needs of the hospital, or by fostering co-operation and communication with NHS authorities and other relevant organisations.
