Age UK works with and for all older people and their carers, enhancing the quality of their lives by being a voice of and for older people, providing effective caring services and supporting and enabling older people to lead happy, fulfilled lives. Age UK Oxfordshire runs several activities in Thame, which everyone is welcome at, including the following:
Information Drop-In and coffee morning at Christchurch on the last Tuesday of every month between 10am and 11:30am.
Lunch club at The Coffee House on the last Tuesday of every month from 12:30pm, please call 01844 214556 to book (£5 per person).
Singing group at Windmill Place (Corbetts Way) every Friday between 11am and 12pm (£2 per session).
Whist Drive social group at Thame Bowls Club every Thursday afternoon between 2pm and 4pm (£2 per session).
Chair-based Exercise Class at St Joseph’s Catholic Church every Tuesday between 12pm and 1pm, please contact 01235 849403 to book.
Carers’ Support Group at Christchurch every fourth Monday of the month between 10:30am and 12pm, please contact Sue on 07468 862177.
