Mayor & Deputy Visit Community Larder

Thame Mayor and Deputy meet volunteers at the Community Larder

On Thursday, 30th May, Mayor Cllr Andy Gilbert and Deputy Cllr David Dawson dropped by the Community Larder in Thame. The Larder distributes surplus foods from supermarkets, reducing waste, and providing members with access to healthy staple food.

The Community Larder is held most Thursday afternoons from 2.30pm to 4.30pm at Christchurch URC/Methodist Church in the Upper High Street and includes a free community cafe. Funds raised support Sharing Life Trust, one of the Mayor’s chosen charities for 2024/25.
