#Smallbiz100

We would like to congratulate Rumsey’s Homemade Chocolates and Floralia Perfume Boutique for being shortlisted in the Small Business Saturday’s #Smallbiz100.

Small Business Saturday is a grassroots, non-commercial campaign, which celebrates small business success and encourages consumers to ‘shop local’ and to support businesses in their communities.

The campaign was originally founded by American Express in the U.S. in 2010, and the brand remains the principal supporter of the campaign in the UK.

As a part of the 100 day countdown to Small Business Saturday UK, taking place on the 2 Dec 2023, each of the shortlisted businesses will be profiled by the campaign team. Rumsey’s Homemade Chocolates will be featured on the 11 Oct and Floralia Perfume Boutique will be on the 15 Oct.

Avril McLoughlin, owner and creator of Floralia Perfume Boutique (pictured above) says:
“I’m naturally thrilled to have earned a place in the #SmallBiz100 campaign. The past few years has been a crazy journey; from redundancy during the Covid pandemic to following my dream of starting my own boutique with all the trials and tribulations that any small business owner faces. It’s truly rewarding to be included with all the wonderful small business out there…let’s keep supporting each other and shopping small!’.

We would like to congratulate both of the businesses, and we look forward to hearing from them both soon about their campaign days!
