Mayor’s Fundraising Totals
Over the past 12 months, Cllr Paul Cowell has been raising money for his chosen charity, Thame Youth Projects.
Once Covid-19 restrictions were lifted, various fundraising events took place throughout his year of office which included a film screening, quiz night, and Charity Dinner, as well as selling charity Christmas cards and the Mayor even dyed his hair purple! The total amount raised has reached £5,800 which Cllr Cowell was delighted to present to Thame Youth Projects at the Annual Meeting of the Council on Tuesday, 10th May.
A big thank you to all those who have helped contribute to this magnificent amount!
Town Mayor re-elected
Also at the Annual Meeting on Tuesday, the Council re-elected Cllr Paul Cowell as Town Mayor and elected Cllr Adrian Dite as Deputy Mayor. The Mayor has chosen to support Thame Youth Projects and Thame Senior Friendship Centre during this Mayoral year.
