Memorial Gardens refurbishment

The Memorial Gardens were reopened yesterday following completion of the refurbishment work to the ponds and Pearce Memorial Fountain. Over the last couple of weeks the ponds have been drained and fully cleaned, the pond pumps and filtration system serviced and a small amount of repair work undertaken to the render. The refurbishment work provided an ideal opportunity to inspect the pipe work and get the Pearce Memorial Fountain working again. The stone plinth on which the sculpture sits has been professionally cleaned along with the surrounding paving. The ponds and fountain are now looking splendid and the fish are enjoying their new clean surroundings, so why not pay them a visit!
