Minutes of a Meeting of the Community Services Committee held on 12 May 2026 at 7:15pm in the Upper Chamber, Thame Town Hall

1            Apologies for Absence

Apologies for absence were received from Cllrs Bretherton, Dawson and Gilbert (ex officio).

2            Appointment of Chair

The Deputy Town Mayor called for nominations for the position of Chair of the Community Services Committee for the 2026-2027 municipal year.

It was moved and duly seconded that Cllr Cowell be appointed Chair. There being no other nominations it was:

RESOLVED that:

i)  Cllr Cowell be appointed Chair of the Community Services Committee for the 2026-2027 municipal year.

3            Appointment of Deputy Chair

The Chair of the Community Services Committee called for nominations for the position of Deputy Chair of the Community Services Committee for the 2026-2027 municipal year.

It was moved and duly seconded that Cllr Emery be appointed Deputy Chair. There being no other nominations it was:

RESOLVED that:

i)  Cllr Emery be appointed Deputy Chair of the Community Services Committee for the 2026-2027 municipal year.

The meeting concluded at 7:17pm.
