Additional informationLooking to volunteer your time where it truly matters? We are a local charity supporting local families and our volunteers are at the heart of everything we do.
Our trained home-visiting volunteers visit families who have at least one child age five years and under who need support. The family may be struggling with low self-esteem, isolation, multiple births or need support to cope with the challenges of parenting in the early years. It’s a really rewarding way to spend a couple of hours a week.
Our volunteers need experience of parenting, childcare or working with children – if this sounds like you, we love to hear from you! We have procedures to check that all volunteers are suitable to work with children. This includes enhanced DBS checks, references and interviews. We will support you with full training and ongoing supervision and support from our friendly team.
