Plenty of roles in Girlguiding.
Here in Thame we are heavily involved in the community, and we would love to have all types of people to help out with us fundraising and being involved in the Carnival, Music In the Park, and with our trips out.
A few of our popular options are listed here.
Help out on a parent rota - by offering a helping hand at a few meetings per year, you can support your daughter's leaders and experience the fun of guiding.
Help with administration - you could get involved with anything from planning events and camps to managing finances and helping with fundraising.
Share a specific skill - whatever you're great at - from football coaching to yoga teaching, graphic design to engineering - you could help inspire girls to try something new.
Become an occasional helper - you'll assist in running groups on an ad-hoc basis. You will be supported by other volunteers to assist in delivering activities, trips and adventures for girls.
Become a leader - if you'd like to support a group more regularly there are lots of opportunities to get involved.
Working alongside other volunteers, you'll be supported with learning and development opportunities and will make a huge difference in your local community.
There is more information on www.girlguiding.org.uk about volunteering with us as a whole organisation
