Additional information

The Thame Senior Friendship Centre (TSFC) Trustees are seeking to recruit a new Deputy Manager with the right values and behaviours who can encourage and nurture a positive workplace culture based on respect and dignity for those who attend TSFC. They will support the Manager in the day-to-day running of TSFC.

The Centre has been in existence since 1986 and its aim is to support the elderly community of Thame and surrounding villages.

Based at the cricket pavilion behind the Barns Centre, the Centre is open for members on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday each week. Core working hours are 8.30am - 3.30pm with members attending between 9.30am - 2.30pm. More details about the activities of the Centre can be found on our website

We are keen to recruit someone who can help us ensure their workplace values are at the heart of everything we do.
We aim to provide a caring, sociable and flexible environment for their members ensuring that we are inclusive, caring and provide support to families and/or carers.
It is essential to ensure good communication with other local organisations responsible for care of the elderly in the community.

The Centre reopened on Tuesday May 18 and whilst restrictions are currently in place, we will work within government policy to provide support to our members.

Closing date for applications Friday 25 June 2021. Please contact Alison Champken-Woods, Chair of Trustees on 07725594484 or email if you are interested.
