September Street Fair

Join us for a weekend of fun, as our annual Thame September Fair lands on our high street on Thursday 17th – Saturday 19th September 2026!
From dodgems and waltzers to hot dogs and candy floss, our fair is the perfect place to have fun, hang out with friends and family and make memories that last a lifetime! For information on opening hours, road closures, resident permits, public transport and much more, read below.

Thursday 17th Sept: 3:30pm-11pm
Friday 18th Sept: 12pm-11pm
Saturday 19th Sept: 12pm-11pm

GENERAL CONTACTS

ROAD CLOSURES
The main road closures will apply from 4pm Wednesday 16th September until midday Sunday 20th September.
RESIDENT ACCESS PERMITS
Eligible residents and businesses with off-street parking can obtain an access permit from the Information Centre.
PUBLIC TRANSPORT
Heading to Thame for the September Fair? Save the hassle of parking and travel by public transport.
PARKING & TAXIS
The car parks at Southern Road (behind the former Co-Op) and Cattle Market (North Street) will remain open as usual.
Additional parking will be available at Southern Road Recreation Ground from noon on Thursday, and 8am-11:30 on Friday & Saturday.
Limited disabled parking will be available at North Street.
The Taxi Rank will relocate to North Street.
LOST CHILDREN
If you find a lost child, please escort them to the Information Centre at the Town Hall. Phone 01844 212 833.

TOILETS
The Market House public toilets (Until 10pm) and Cattle Market (Until 6pm) (North Street) public toilets will be available.
Medical Assistance
Medical assistance will be available during the fair, visit our website for the nearest defibrillator.
