Reading based guitarist Hugh Turner is one of the UK’s finest exponents of funk jazz. His guitar playing is forthright, bluesy edged and highly rhythmic. We’ve engaged Hugh to mix his ‘funk’ repertoire with some well known jazz classics to provide an evening of high-octane music that will have you itching to move, tap or perhaps grab your air-guitar! To keep things fulsome and energetic we’ve added pianist/organist Maff Potts, bassist Paul Jefferies and superb drummer Steve Wyndham to the mix.
