Come and Sing Evensong

Happening at the even point between the active day and the restful night, Evensong is a sung service led almost entirely by the choir using the Book of Common Prayer.

This is a chance for those with an interest in singing in a choir to join in with a 500-year-old tradition. You don’t have to be able to read music; you just have to enjoy singing!

This event is aimed at those over the age of 16 years of age, but anyone is welcome.

Outline of the event:
Rehearsal with the St Mary’s Choir, led by Revd. Graham Choldcroft: 3pm

Break for sandwiches, tea and cake: 5pm

Service of Evensong, open to all: 6.30pm
