Thame offers a wide range of sport and leisure activities for all ages and abilities. Whether you are a spectator, amateur or professional, there are lots of things to get involved in. Meadow View Park Football Club

Meadow View Park Football Club is a modern sporting and conference facility set in the heart of the Oxfordshire countryside. Built in 2010, the stadium boasts 9 pitches together with a modern clubhouse, changing room and spectator facilities alongside a bar, function room and conference areas. The Club is home to a number of adult, junior and girls teams as well Hellenic Premier League team Thame United. 


Chinnor Rugby Club

Chinnor RFC offers a great rugby experience for all ages. The club runs four senior teams as well as a full youth setup from the ages of 6 and upwards. Many players who started at Chinnor RFC have found success with Premiership teams and the club continues to nurture young talent. The clubhouse itself is an excellent venue available to hire for parties, wedding receptions and private functions.


Thame Skatepark

Adrenaline junkies from miles around come to Thame Skatepark, which has recently undergone a £250,000 renovation. The new concrete facility boasts a wide range of features including a street section and large bowl and is suitable for all abilities. The park is free to use and is open all year round.



Thame Leisure Centre

Thame Leisure Centre is situated on the edge of the town. It boasts a 25m swimming pool with sessions for fitness and fun, a 4 court badminton sports hall with new playing surface, fully equipped gym, a dance studio offering a wide range of fitness classes, a group cycling studio, a crèche is available for children up to 5 years, junior sports and leisure activities and is available to hire for birthday parties. 


Thame Town Cricket Club

Thame Town Cricket Club is an active club for all ages and levels of ability. It caters for serious adult and youth competitive cricketers as well as those who enjoy the occasional game. As well as men’s and junior teams, the club also offers women’s cricket including the popular Crick-Fit initiative which mixes fun, fitness and cricket-related exercises.


Thame Tennis Club

Thame Tennis Club is a club mark accredited club, which ensures it adheres to delivering a quality tennis development programme and operates in line with best practice outlined by Sport England.  It is affiliated to Oxfordshire Lawn Tennis Association (OLTA) and the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) and offers a wide range of sporting and social activities including two hard courts, four artificial clay courts, a clubhouse with bar and changing facilities, junior and adult tournaments and coaching for all ages.
