Contractor appointed for the build of the Community & Youth Centre

At the Full Council Meeting on Tuesday 11 August a contractor was appointed for the build of the Community & Youth Centre. The Town Council is excited to announce the contractor is Edgar Taylor Construction.

“We are delighted that Thame Town Council has selected Edgar Taylor as preferred contractor for the new Community and Youth Centre at Southern Road. Community buildings are at the heart of what we do, and with 30 years’ experience delivering them across the region, we know how much this one will mean to the town. The new centre will give the young people of Thame a dedicated, safe space to socialise, learn and grow, alongside facilities for everyone to enjoy. We look forward to working in partnership with the Town Council and the project team, and to seeing the community make this building their own.”

This decision is a significant step into progressing this exciting project and the Town Council looks forward to working with Edgar Taylor Construction to deliver this vibrant community space that will bring generations together to create, learn and thrive.
