Full Council, 2 June 2026

Thame Town Council will meet on Tuesday 2 June at 6.30pm in the Upper Chamber at Thame Town Hall. Residents are welcome to attend.  Full agenda is available on the website.
 
Councillors will consider a range of items, including:

  • Thame Football Partnership Lease – reviewing and approving recommendations relating to the lease.
  • Green Spaces and Biodiversity – considering proposals for S106 funding to support local environmental improvements.
  • Pearce Way Play Area – appointing councillors to authorise funding agreements for enhancements which are being considered to the play area.
  • Thame 2050 Strategy – noting progress on the town’s long-term strategy, with wider engagement and consultation planned.
  • Oxfordshire Renewable Energy Policy Consultation – agreeing a response to a county-wide policy aimed at ensuring communities benefit from renewable energy developments.
  • Project Link – receiving an update on the Community & Youth Centre.

 
Towards the end of the meeting, matters will be discussed in confidential session, including funding due diligence and community governance matters.
 
Members of the public are welcome at all meetings.  A public participation period is set aside at the start of each meeting in which the public may ask questions or make comments regarding any matter.  In order to speak at a Council meeting, members of the public must apply in writing to the Town Clerk by 5pm on the day preceding the meeting.
