Town Awards Nominations are open!

Each year the Town Council invites members of the public to nominate someone in our community who they think deserves some recognition. Anyone can make a nomination, as long as the person or organisation being nominated lives, works or studies in Thame. Do you know someone who needs to be recognised for their work within our community?
The categories for the awards are…
Arts and Culture Contribution: A person of any age who has shown great creativity or has made significant contributions to the culture of Thame.
Business Of The Year: A business that goes the extra mile, supports the community, offers opportunities, or practises sustainability.
Service With A Smile: A person who consistently provides good, friendly service, and goes the extra mile to make customers feel welcome.
Sporting Contribution: A person of any age or a team who has shown great dedication to their sport and/or supported local sport/fitness.
Community Champion Award: A person of any age who has selflessly given their time to help others in the community, whether as part of a volunteer group or on their own terms.
Young Person Award: Any young person in school years 7-13 (age 11-19 at the time of the nomination), who has made an outstanding contribution to Thame by any means.
Make sure to visit our dedicated Town Awards webpage to nominate or visit the Information Centre in the Town Hall to pick up a paper copy. You can also print the nomination form on the website.
Please hand in any paper copies to the Information Centre in the Town Hall before the nominations close on Monday 15th June 2026.
