No Local Elections in South Oxfordshire this year

You may have seen news about local elections taking place in other parts of the country and wondered why no elections are happening in South Oxfordshire at the moment. Different councils across England follow different election cycles, which is why elections may still be happening elsewhere. Elections in South Oxfordshire are held every four years.  The last full district and parish council elections took place here in May 2023 and county council elections in 2025.

As a result, there are no planned local elections in South Oxfordshire during 2026. The next local elections here will be held in May 2027.
