Mayor attends Chinnor RFC’s Minis Festival

Last Sunday 23^rd November, Chinnor RFC in Thame held a wildly successful mini rugby tournament. Girls and boys minis teams from around Berks, Bucks, Oxon – one even came from Gloucestershire! – came to the Kingsey Road stadium for the festival. With the adults included, Chairman Nick Stainton estimated there were upwards of 3,000 on site. The rain held off, the sun shone and lots of minis had the best fun.

Thame Mayor Andy Gilbert was invited along and enthused:

“This is so good to see – lots of kids having fun and running around in the fresh air – all safely guided by adult helpers and coaches. Chinnor RFC continues to be a great asset to the town of Thame.”
