Thank you to our residents and businesses!

The Town Council wishes to thank everyone that helped to make Thame’s September Fair an enjoyable and safe event for all. In particular, residents and businesses for their co-operation, especially given the additional challenge of the ongoing Wellington Street closure, The Shield Group for expertly cleaning the town after the fair, and Pentangle for once again enabling the popular live streaming of Thame Fair. 

However, The Town Council was disappointed that during the Fair, a domestic fridge was dumped in one of the waste skips hired for the Fair which resulted in a surcharge to the Town Council.

Already missing the Fair? There’s not long to wait until it’s back in Thame on Friday 10 and Saturday 11 October. This smaller fair will be setting up in the Upper High Street car park on the evening of Wednesday 8 October – please ensure all cars are moved from the Upper High Street car park by 5pm on Wednesday 8 October until Sunday 12 October.
