Your Voice Matters: Help Shape Our 2026-27 Budget

Thame Town Council are now reviewing their budget for the year 2026-27 and want to hear from YOU. This budget will guide our community’s priorities and investments for the coming year, affecting everything from local services to infrastructure improvements.

Why Your Feedback Matters
Your input helps ensure our budget reflect the real needs and priorities of our community. Whether you’re a long-time resident, new to the area, or a local business owner, your perspective is valuable in shaping how we allocate resources to best serve everyone.

Thank you to everyone who completed our budget questionnaire previously, we have taken on board all the feedback and will publish in February 2026 a precept leaflet which will highlight how we have listened and where we have used monies in the year 2025-26. You can view our 2025/26 leaflet here.

Questions We’d Like You to Consider

  • Are we investing in the right priorities for our community’s future?
  • What services or programs are most important to you and your family?
  • Are there areas where you’d like to see increased or decreased funding?
  • Do you have ideas for generating revenue or reducing costs?

Participating in the budget process is one of the most direct ways to influence your local government. Your input helps ensure money is spent wisely on the services and improvements that matter most to our community.

Don’t miss this opportunity to help shape our shared future. Together, we can build a budget that reflects our community’s values and priorities.

The deadline for feedback is 10th October 2025.
Your voice counts – make sure it’s heard!
