Wellington Street Update

Temporary Traffic Regulation Notice – S14 Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
Temporary Emergency Road Closure at Thame, 12 Wellington Street
 
Oxfordshire County Council has been informed of a temporary extension on the emergency road closure on the Wellington Street whilst sewer repairs relating to sink hole/possible pollution works are carried out for public safety reasons.  
 
A temporary Emergency Notice is being made to implement the temporary closure and will operate from 25 July 2025 up to and including 14 August 2025. This has now been extended to 04 September 2025
 
Access will be maintained for emergency service vehicles and for those frontages within the closure area, subject to the progress of the works and liaison with the works supervisor. 

The town council is monitoring the situation in light of the upcoming September Fair.
