80th VJ Day – Local Stories

The Information Centre has a special display of VJ Day memories from our community. Discover personal stories and photographs that bring this moment in history to life. 

Let’s remember together.

There will be a wreath laying at the Memorial Gardens on Friday 15th August at 11am, to commemorate the 80th anniversary of VJ Day.

Opening Hours:
Mondays – 9am to 4:30pm
Tuesdays – 9am to 4:30pm
Wednesdays – 9am to 4:30pm
Thursdays – 10am to 4:30pm
Fridays – 9am to 4pm
Please note we are closed on weekends and Bank Holidays.
