The next talk at Thame Museum is a fascinating little- known piece of history.

Learn about this special operation during WWII, which produced forged documents for the SOE agents in Europe. It all took place at Briggens House, an 18th century mansion of the Special Operations Executive.
The speaker, Charles Pither is a renowned physician and author. He has carried out extensive research of Briggens House to reveal the activities of this fascinating but little known operation.
These activities have been further captured by Charles in an historical novel, Ipseity. It is populated with real life characters and situations the brilliant team at Briggens would have encountered. Charles will include a couple of readings to enhance this sense of place.
His book will be available to purchase at the talk.
