TNP2 Consultation starts next week

Public consultation on the new draft Thame Neighbourhood Plan starts on Monday 12 June.  This will aim to provide for the minimum level of growth required of Thame by the 2035 South Oxfordshire Local Plan.

The new draft Thame Neighbourhood Plan is based around the successful vision and objectives of the original neighbourhood plan. It contains policies for how development should happen within Thame and proposes land for the required housing and employment uses, above.  It also includes projects to improve the lives of residents.  It has been written with the benefit of evidence focused on Thame’s needs and the 1400 sets of comments already made by residents, businesses and organisations.

There will be series of consultation events at the Town Hall taking place in July:
Tuesday 4 July 9.30am – 2.00pm
Thursday 6 July 1.00pm – 4.00pm
Saturday 8 July 10.00am – 4.00pm
Wednesday 12 July 2.00pm – 4.30pm
Thursday 13 July 2.00pm – 8.00pm

Further details of how you can take part will be announced in this newsletter and on our website, which is being updated ready for the start: www.thametowncouncil.gov.uk/tnp2
