Thame’s 1st XI are at home this Saturday

With pitches getting some respite from the rain this week, Thame’s First XI is set to play its first league match at home, against Cumnor, in the Home Counties Premier League, Division 2. The match will start at 11.30am and all support will be welcome!

In their first match last Saturday, Thame lost narrowly to Amersham in the final over, away from home. Having made a respectable 200-9 in a match shortened to 41 overs (Alex Browne 72), Amersham replied with 201-6, with Brad Watson taking 3 for 20 off 5 overs.

Meanwhile at the club’s second ground, Lord Bills’s, Thame’s 4th XI will run out against Leighton Buzzard 3rds, starting at 1.00pm on Saturday. The club’s Women’s team will then travel to St. Alban’s on Sunday for a 3-way, Super 8s tournament which will include local rivals Tiddington.
