Following the election results, there a vacancy for a Councillor at Thame Town Council. This has arisen as there were 7 candidates for 8 seats in the North Ward. The vacancy will be filled by a process called ‘co-option’ – this means anyone who meets the criteria (see links below) can apply to be a councillor on Thame Town Council.

To apply, please send a letter of application to info@thametowncouncil.gov.uk or the Town Hall, Thame, OX9 3DP by 4.00pm on Tuesday 6 June. In your letter you may wish to include your connection to Thame, why you want to be a Town Councillor and what skills / experience you can bring to the Town Council. Applications will be considered at a Full Council meeting on Tuesday 13 June 2023.
