Be part of creating a Travel Plan for Thame

Thame Town Council is keen to engage with residents and groups in Thame to form a plan for the future of travel in Thame. To achieve this aim we would like to invite you to play a part in this process.

There are 3 keys ways for people to get involved:

  1. CONSULTEE – be willing to be consulted as part of the process outlined above. This would involve giving us your email address so that we can send you information and ask for your feedback.
  2. AD-HOC SUPPORT – play a role on an ad-hoc basis to carry out tasks such as street questionnaires, helping to host drop-in consultations, etc.
  3. COMMUNITY WORKING GROUP – meeting for 2 hours every 6 – 8 weeks to develop a plan for the future of travel in Thame. Members of this group will also need to be able to give 2 – 4 hours between meetings to support some of the following tasks: helping to facilitate projects e.g. drop-in consultations, circulating questionnaires, presenting to various organisations, publicity research and attending other meetings as a delegate of the group.

We are hoping to have a lead in the following fields – accessibility, cycling, disabled access, commercial travel, public transport and walking.

If you would be interested in being involved in any of the ways above, please indicate this by completing our short form through the link below:
