Thame’s Youth Worker takes on exciting new challenge

Thame Youth Projects announces the departure of its Youth Worker, James Edney.

“James will be missed by the young people of Thame and we wish him well in his ongoing career to serve young people” commented Thame Youth Projects’ Chair, Linda Newton.

The Thame-based charity is working with James to ensure a smooth transition. Young people and community groups, including the Town Council, will also be consulted about its ongoing activities and the role of the next Youth Worker.

Comments and questions are invited from young people and all those who are committed to their futures.  Please email admin@thameyouthprojects.org.uk

“Change brings challenges” added Linda Newton “but it also presents us with an opportunity to strengthen what we do in service of the Young People of Thame.”

James Edney has secured a position with the highly regarded Oxfordshire Youth charity, which he will start at the beginning of June. His new role will allow him to continue his links with TYPG and Thame

We thank James for all he has done for Thame Youth Project Group and we wish him every success in his new role.
