Thame Outer Circuit

The Thame Outer Circuit is a NEW walking route that is now available for you to enjoy, providing an approximately 20 mile circular walk in the countryside around and linked back to our town. It has been created thanks to the hard work and dedication of members of the Thame & Wheatley Ramblers to encourage walking in the countryside as an integral part of the Thame Green Living Plan, prepared by Thame Green Living and adopted by Thame Town Council to promote a cleaner, greener and healthier Thame. Specific thanks go to Tony Clark, Ruth Cornish and Len Davidson who have played a significant part in developing the idea, creating and testing the route for us all to enjoy.

Leaflets of the route will be available soon, with plans to do an official launch later in the year, but for now you can get a preview by exploring our online version of the Thame Outer Circuit. As you will see there are some sections that are awaiting photos and we want your help to fill these. As you get out and about to explore the route please snap a few photos and send them to us, letting us know clearly which point on the route they belong to. Email us at info@thametowncouncil.gov.uk
